Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of SPAZEHAUS' website, services, project management app and Google integrations.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, applications and services provided by Spazehaus Sdn Bhd (“SPAZEHAUS”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an interior design and renovation studio based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or signing in to our project management app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Our services

SPAZEHAUS provides:

  • Interior design, renovation and related consultation services
  • A project management application used by our team and invited clients to track projects, quotations, documents, payments, site photos and schedules
  • Client portals that give you visibility into the status of your own project

Access to the management app is granted by invitation. Accounts are personal to the individual or organisation they are issued to and must not be shared.

2. Acceptable use

When using our website or app, you agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, data or system
  • Interfere with, disrupt or place undue load on the service
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others' rights
  • Reverse engineer, copy or resell the service except as permitted by law

3. Google account & Calendar integration

Our project management app offers an optional integration with Google Calendar. If you choose to connect your Google account, we request permission to view and manage events on your Google Calendar (the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope) solely so the app can:

  • Create and update calendar events for your project milestones, site visits and reminders
  • Keep those events in sync with the schedule shown inside the app

Limited use. SPAZEHAUS' use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We only use Google Calendar data to provide and improve the scheduling features described above. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except where required for security, to comply with the law, or with your explicit consent. You can disconnect the integration at any time from within the app, or by revoking access in your Google Account permissions.

How we collect, use and protect personal data — including data obtained through Google — is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your content & data

You retain ownership of the content and project information you submit. You grant SPAZEHAUS a limited licence to store and process that content as needed to deliver the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

5. Intellectual property

The website, the app, our designs, text, graphics, logos and software are owned by or licensed to SPAZEHAUS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except where we deliver design deliverables to you under a separate project agreement, nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

6. Fees & project agreements

Design and renovation work is governed by the separate quotation or project agreement you sign with us. Where those documents conflict with these Terms in relation to a specific project, the signed project agreement prevails for that project.

7. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend or withdraw access to the app at our discretion, for example for maintenance, security, or where an account is misused.

8. Disclaimers

The website and app are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. This does not affect any rights you have under a signed project agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, SPAZEHAUS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required for legal, security or operational reasons. On termination, the integration permissions you granted (including Google Calendar access) can be revoked as described in section 3.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
